Yoga has helped Rachel become more present in her personal and professional life. She has found a sense of home in her body, and is more equipped to listen to, and honor her needs. She hopes to help students connect with themselves, and gain the ability to move freely through their lives both physically and mentally.
Emily found yoga during her college years, and became a dedicated student during her graduate studies, when stress seemed to be at an all-time high, and free time was almost non-existent. A friend took her to a heated power-vinyasa studio, and she had no idea what a life-changing journey she was about to embark on.
Lauren believes yoga is a lifelong journey and practice with the power to change lives. Lauren began practicing yoga in 2014 in Cleveland, Ohio while looking for an outlet during grad school. Lauren, having spent most of her life training as a dancer, loved the invigorating yet mindful group dynamic in classes.
As a lifelong learner and teacher in numerous capacities, Katie’s passion has always been education and sharing knowledge. After graduating with a master’s degree in education, she was introduced to the healing power of yoga and learned lessons on the mat that were brought into life off the mat.
Meloni found her yoga practice 3 years ago and was immediately captivated. She strongly believes the greatest benefit of her personal practice is the ability to focus on her breath- both on and off the mat- in order to find grounding and remain present, to be here, in the now.
MaryKate (MK) O’Brien received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in Baptiste style yoga at Yoga Habit. A lifelong athlete, MK first began yoga for the physical benefits and has trained for 6 years in mainly hot Vinyasa classes.
Alex Kapnek completed her RYT certification at Yoga Habit. She is trained in Baptiste style and restorative yoga. Alex likes to provide a high energy class with a focus on core strengthening and creating heat in class.
Sophie is a self care loving yogi known for her welcoming and non-judgmental teaching style. Sophie’s classes are fun and upbeat with various poses from sun salutations to yogis choice assisted inversion practice.
Jillian’s style of teaching incorporates diverse stages of power, pace, and energy backed up with an urban vibe, internal sentiment, and contemporary music. Whether you’re doing power, vinyasa, or restorative yoga, she thinks it is important to recognize that every practice is your own.
Alyson is a Kundalini Reiki Master, Certified Holistic Health Coach, and Yoga Instructor. She lives by the belief that the body is always capable of returning to a state of wholeness.
Since 2001, Nicole has been professionally teaching Vinyasa & Restorative Yoga. She studied Yoga, Women’s Moon Practices, Ayurveda and Meditation for 2.5 years under the tutelage of Summer Quashie and Leigh Evans. She is now a Yoga Alliance 500HR E-RYT, 85HR RPYT, as well as a Continuing Education Provider.
Sami found yoga 6 years ago while battling major anxiety & depression. Realizing how much yoga helped change her life, Sami grew a passion to become a teacher to help others experience the healing of yoga as well. She teaches yoga in hopes to promote authentic, loving-kindness.
Alex completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Jaco, Costa Rica in 2014. She then went on to earn her 85-hour prenatal yoga certification and is currently working towards her 300-hour advanced teacher training.
