Join Unity Yoga for our Recovery Yoga teacher training!
Welcome to the Unity Yoga 32-hour Recovery Teacher Training portal. Choosing to deepen your practice and become a yoga teacher is a sacred journey that we look forward to walking with you over the next several weekends. At Unity, we believe in the healing resonance and transformative power of yoga, and that belief is held closely within and during our teacher training program.
We have created this program from the perspective of nondualism, meaning it is not us vs them, or you vs me. “We are all facets of one diamond – as we progress we ‘shine’ our part of the diamond. Together we shine brightest.” This is the message we hope to deliver to you, our teachers, and that we hope you will deliver to your students.
Working with people in recovery is transformative work. Through their life experiences they have learned to put on a “suit of armor”. We are not here to break down or break through their armor, we are here to make them feel safe enough to take it off themselves.
We also have up to 10 scholarships available for those who identify as in recovery to take part in our full YTT-200 and Recovery Yoga teacher training at no cost to them. Please fill out the application here to express your interest.
