Unity Yoga Teacher Trainings
Join Unity Yoga for our Recovery Yoga teacher training!
Welcome to the Unity Yoga 32-hour Recovery Teacher Training portal. Choosing to deepen your practice and become a yoga teacher is a sacred journey that we look forward to walking with you over the next several weekends. At Unity, we believe in the healing resonance and transformative power of yoga, and that belief is held closely within and during our teacher training program.
We have created this program from the perspective of nondualism, meaning it is not us vs them, or you vs me. “We are all facets of one diamond – as we progress we ‘shine’ our part of the diamond. Together we shine brightest.” This is the message we hope to deliver to you, our teachers, and that we hope you will deliver to your students.
Working with people in recovery is transformative work. Through their life experiences they have learned to put on a “suit of armor”. We are not here to break down or break through their armor, we are here to make them feel safe enough to take it off themselves.
We also have up to 10 scholarships available for those who identify as in recovery to take part in our full YTT-200 and Recovery Yoga teacher training at no cost to them. Please fill out the application here to express your interest.

Missed or Incomplete Classes/Trainings: Missed or incomplete classes/trainings may be made up in other training sessions, or in the next full yoga teacher training, with up to one years for completion at no additional cost.
Documentation for misses Classes/Trainings: Advance notice and documentation as to the reason for missed classes or trainings is not required; all reasons for missed session will be accepted and should be discussed with the lead trainer and/or studio owner to facilitate a makeup session/class plan.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: All refunds over $100 will be made by check. Administrative fees charged for Payment Plan options will not be refunded. An additional 5% of the tuition amount will be withheld for payments made with credit or debit cards. All refunds will be issued within 30 days of receipt of written notice of cancellation and upon return of the training manual.
Three-Day Cancellation: An applicant who provides written notice of cancellation within three (3) days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and federal or state holidays) of paying the initial deposit or tuition payment is entitled to a refund of all monies paid minus any credit card fees of 5%. No later than 30 days after receiving the notice of cancellation, Unity Yoga shall provide a 100% refund minus applicable credit card fees.
Denial of Enrollment: If an applicant is denied enrollment, 100% of all student fees and tuition paid will be returned within 30 days of denial.
Cancellation after the commencement of classes: If an applicant accepted by Unity Yoga submits written notice of cancellation after 3 days and up to 3 weeks (21 days) prior to the start of scheduled classes, Unity Yoga will refund 100% of all student fees and tuition paid, less a $150 Administrative Fee. An additional 5% of the tuition amount will be withheld for payments made with credit or debit cards.
Procedure for withdrawal/withdrawal date: A student choosing to withdraw from the program after the commencement of classes is to provide written notice to the lead trainer and/or studio owner. The notice is to indicate the expected last date of attendance and be signed and dated by the student. The receipt date of written request to withdraw will be considered the withdrawal date.
A student will be automatically withdrawn if they have not attended any of the regularly scheduled teacher training classes for two (2) consecutive scheduled class sessions. In this case, the withdrawal date will be the date of the second consecutive missed class.
The percentage of the enrollment period completed is determined by dividing the total number of clock hours* elapsed from the students start date to the last day of attendance, by the total number of clock hours in the enrollment period, less a $150 administrative fee and a fee of 5% if payment was made by credit or debit card.
Tuition charges and refund amounts for the enrollment period will be determined as follows:
- Before beginning of class 100% Refund (less any admin/credit card fees as stated above)
- 10% or less of the clock hours elapsed 90% Refund
- 11% to 20% of the clock hours elapsed 80% Refund
- 21% to 30% of the clock hours elapsed 70% Refund
- 31% to 40% of the clock hours elapsed 60% Refund
- 41% to 50% of the clock hours elapsed 50% Refund
- 51% or more of the clock hours elapsed No Refund
No refunds will be given after 50% attendance has been completed after the start of your program, whichever is earlier.
